Purpose: develop memory
Play: Mother gets the animal toys together and numbers each animal toy. In the beginning, mother puts each toy stand in its number and please lets baby remember. Then mother picks up the number and mess the number. Then mother lets the baby label original number to each toy and see whether the baby can exactly put number to the toy correspondence or not.
Name one by one
Purpose: cultivate short-term memory
Play: Parent puts some goods (more than five kinds) on the table in sequence. The baby remembers them in 30 seconds. Then parent ask the baby to say the name of these goods in sequence from memory by sheltering these goods.
Purpose: develop memory
Play: Parents tell continuous fairy tale to baby and let him remember where to stop everyday. When start the story next day, you can ask him:"where did we get to last time."See whether the baby can remember or not.
Memorize by watching the picture
Purpose: teach sorting memorial method
Material: Animals on the pictures or cards
Play: Let the baby see a picture draw several kinds of animals in a limited time. You can give him enough time to see at first. Then shorten the time gradually. Then you ask the baby what animals in the picture after take away the picture.
Look into the window case
Purpose: develop observation and the accuracy of his memory
Play: This game suitable for going out with your baby. When passing the shop window, you should let the baby observe the good in the display window carefully. Then you ask the baby what he saw in the window after leaving. Similarly, you let the baby observe the flower beds and say how many several color of flowers.
Make a phone
Purpose: Cultivate memory and imagination, enrich vocabulary and promote the development of language ability
Play: Sit with the baby in the same direction. Mum stretch out her thumb and little finger to ear to imitate make a phone, asking to the baby:” hey, who are you?”, “where do you live?” and etc
Purpose: Enlarge the breadth of memory by action
Play: Let the baby watch you doing five gestures carefully and ask him not to follow with you. Then let him do it one by one repeatedly after you finished.

Answer questions after listening stories
Purpose: Cultivate intentionally attention and memory
Play: When reading stories to the baby, you require your baby listen carefully and then answer questions according to the stories. For example, you read the story of The little horse and the river and ask him:” who say the water is very shallow?”, “who say it was deep?” etc.
Purpose: Enlarge the breadth of short-term memory
Play: Let the baby repeated the story which told him before and see how many words he can remember. Let the baby say some word he familiar, such as transportation, animal and plant words and other words.
Purpose: develop name’s memory
Play: When watching TV or reading with the baby, you could require him to remember the names in the story and then let the baby memorize everyone’s name.
