What are the factors that trigger a migraine?

      Migraine may be caused by:
                Ø Certain odors or perfumes
                Ø changes in hormone levels (which can occur in a woman's menstrual cycle, or contraceptive use)
                O changes in sleep patterns
                Ø Practice
                Ø Loud noises
                Ø Alcohol
                Ø allergic reactions
                Ø bright light
                Ø skip meals
                Ø physical or mental stress
                Ø smoking or exposure to smoking

      Certain foods and food preservatives may trigger migraines in some people. Food-related triggers may include:
                Ø any treatment, fermentation, pickling, or preserved foods
                Ø Bakery
                Ø chocolat
                Ø nuts
                Ø onion
                Ø peanut butter
                Ø dairy
                Ø foods containing monosodium glutamate (MSG)
                Ø foods containing tyramine, including red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken livers, figs, beans, and some
                Ø fruit (avocado, banana, citrus fruits)
                Ø meats containing nitrates (bacon, hot dogs, sausage, bacon)
